Roadform Ltd have recently been awarded the contract for the replacement of a stone arched bridge in Glenbonniv, Feakle, Co Clare on behalf of Clare County Council.
The works consist of the Design & Build of a new bridge structure to replace a collapsed masonry stone arch bridge on the L40582 road. The project consists of the construction of a temporary access road during the construction period, excavation of the existing bridge and the installation of 10 ton precast concrete box culverts along with the construction of stone parapet walls to the new bridge replacement structure. Protection of the water course and the requirement to allow the stream to flow unobstructed will be prioritised throughout the construction phase.
Roadform Ltd will carry out the PSCS role for this project.
